It is usually time well spent to glance up from your busy routine to take the pulse of the general economy, and it may hint the importance of changes reverent to your area of expertise.

RESILIENCE appears to be the recurring theme of "Economic Resilience" by Beth Mattson-Teig in the January/February issue of Commercial Investment Real Estate Magazine.  The subtitle, Economist predict slow, steady growth in 2018, is apparently not an immediate reference to the stock market.

Consideration is made for the predicted positive momentum and volatility of the political environment.  Labor force constraints are a potential risk, given we are running out of people worth hiring.

Included is a summary of each major real estate sector – multifamily, office, industrial and retail – in different positions of the business cycle.

Bill Jeansonne, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana, received both his undergraduate degree and master's in business administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University (LSU).  Bill has 19 years experience in the commercial and industrial real estate business and 14 years experience in commercial/industrial warehouse design and sale of handling equipment.  His specializations include commercial and industrial development, brokerage, and leasing, as well as lease negotiations.
